APEX PARK

Public BBQ

Apex Park sits beautifully along Currumbin's waterfront, where the barbecue facilities meet genuine fishing opportunities right at the water's edge. The shallow areas prove perfect for families - kids can wade in knee-deep to feed eager baby bream with bread scraps while parents cast lines for the larger fish lurking in deeper water. The combination of paddle boarding, kayaking, and angling makes this spot particularly appealing for water enthusiasts. With a playground nearby and tennis courts adjacent to the barbecue area, there's enough variety to keep everyone occupied. The waterside setting transforms an ordinary barbecue into something more memorable, especially when the afternoon light catches the water and the fish are biting.
